American Growth Insurance buys Heller-Kowitz as first partner agency
The AI-focused brokerage network said it expects full integration of Heller-Kowitz onto its platform within three to six months, aiming to boost efficiency and reinvest in the business.
American Growth Insurance, an AI-native insurance brokerage network, has completed its first acquisition by buying Baltimore’s Heller-Kowitz Insurance Advisors, positioning Heller-Kowitz as the group’s inaugural partner agency.
According to Insurance Journal, American Growth Insurance said Heller-Kowitz expands the network’s offerings across personal lines, commercial lines, employee benefits and life insurance, and it will operate on American Growth Insurance’s technology platform.
Insurance Journal reported that American Growth Insurance spent the past year building and testing its operating model and technology infrastructure with support from investment partners Atomic and Rockbridge Growth Equity before moving from planning to execution with the deal.
The outlet also reported that American Growth Insurance’s CEO Brian Morgan said full integration is expected in three to six months, with the platform intended to improve operational efficiency, strengthen client retention and experience, and help sales growth while keeping insurance professionals involved.
