SpaceX SPV investors say shares were sold before trading began
According to a WSJ Markets account, one investor was told he lost the pre-IPO exposure he expected once the shares had already been sold.
An investor described to WSJ Markets how his attempt to gain pre-IPO exposure to SpaceX through an SPV fund did not play out as expected.
He said he bought into the SPV based on promises of exposure to the rocket company, but was later informed that the shares had been sold before they began trading.
The investor’s account centers on the timing of those sales, which he argued undercut the ability to cash in on the position when trading was set to start.
