Inszone buys Radwick & Lightle in Washington to expand benefits services
The acquisition adds a Bremerton, Washington employee benefits specialist and comes as North American agency deal volume fell to 292 acquisitions in H1 2026, a 15% drop year on year.
Inszone Insurance Services has acquired The Lightle Group, LLC, which operates as Radwick & Lightle in Bremerton, Washington, extending Inszone’s footprint into the Pacific Northwest and adding dedicated employee benefits expertise to its existing Washington presence, according to Insurance Business.
The acquired agency was founded in 2001 by Curt Lightle and has served small to mid-sized Washington businesses for more than two decades with employee benefit plan design, HR support, compliance services, and claims advocacy. Justin Foltz, a senior benefits consultant, will continue with the firm and is expected to lead operations as the business scales under Inszone.
Inszone said the deal aligns with Radwick & Lightle’s HR support and compliance advisory service model, and that the team will gain access to broader insurance markets and additional back-office resources. Foltz said Inszone’s interest in preserving the agency’s service approach was central to the decision.
The transaction also fits a broader acquisition pattern among national aggregators targeting founder-run benefits agencies at succession, with Inszone citing the value of insurance benefits books as durable revenue sources. Insurance Business noted Inszone ranked second among US broker buyers in the first half of 2026, closing 33 transactions, while North American agency deal volume declined to 292 acquisitions in H1 2026, the lowest first-half total in seven years.
