Polymarket expands to 12,700 sq ft at 78 Crosby Street

The SoHo office expansion brings its Lower Manhattan footprint to the fifth floor, with asking rent of $85 per square foot and both leases extending to a future termination year not disclosed.

Predication and betting platform Polymarket has expanded its leased space at 78 Crosby Street in Lower Manhattan, doubling its footprint to 12,700 square feet by adding the fifth floor to the space it already rents on the fourth floor, Commercial Observer reports.

The publication says Polymarket has been headquartered at the building since 2023, and that its original lease for 6,350 square feet was also extended. Both leasing deals terminate in a future year that was not disclosed.

Commercial Observer adds that the asking rent for the space is $85 per square foot, citing continued increases in SoHo office demand over the past year.

Polymarket lets users bet on outcomes including sports games, weather, politics, and other topics, and the article notes the company has raised roughly $2 billion since launching in 2020 and is seeking additional funding to build toward a $15 billion valuation. It also cites Polymarket trade volumes of $10.7 billion on its crypto-based international exchange and $3.3 billion on its regulated U.S. exchange in June.
