AutoCanada completes sale of Lincolnwood Toyota for about $40.1 million
The dealership was part of AutoCanada’s U.S. operations, which were classified as discontinued operations after 2024 and booked a net loss of $103.4 million in 2024.
AutoCanada Inc. has completed the sale of its Toyota of Lincolnwood dealership in Lincolnwood, Illinois, for approximately $40.1 million in cash, excluding inventory and net working capital, according to ConnectCRE.
The dealership was included in AutoCanada’s U.S. operations, which the company classified as discontinued operations at the end of 2024. In 2024, those U.S. operations generated a net loss of $103.4 million.
AutoCanada said the sale marks a milestone in its U.S. exit strategy, as it shifts focus toward its core Canadian dealership and collision operations. The company noted that proceeds from U.S. dealership sales have reached approximately $106 million.
AutoCanada added that it continues to expect total proceeds from its U.S. exit to land toward the upper end of its previously disclosed $115 million to $130 million range. ConnectCRE said the divestiture process took longer than originally anticipated.
