Blue Cloud Softech jumps after signing $150 million SpaceX contract
The deal sets a minimum $150 million commitment over 18 months, spanning AI infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecommunications and data-center services.
Blue Cloud Softech surged in early trading after the company announced it has signed a $150 million contract with SpaceX International Ltd. The agreement drove the small-cap IT stock up sharply on BSE, with the shares jumping as much as 11% during Monday's session.
According to an exchange filing dated 10 August, Blue Cloud’s wholly owned US unit, Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Ltd, executed Statement of Work No. 1 under a Master Services Agreement signed on July 9. The statement of work calls for a minimum contractual commitment of $150 million over an 18-month period.
The engagement is intended to support Blue Cloud’s expansion into large-scale AI infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecommunications and data-center solutions for global clients. It includes four value areas, including AI infrastructure valued at $70 million, cybersecurity at $25 million, telecommunications at $25 million, and data-center solutions at $30 million.
Services under the contract will be carried out in five phases across six quarterly billing cycles, starting with assessment and design and moving to managed operations from the sixth quarter onward. Deliverables include GPU and accelerator clusters, MLOps and model-serving infrastructure, a security operations center with SIEM and SOAR systems, and data-center construction, commissioning and disaster-recovery capabilities, LiveMint Markets reported.
