Exzeo launches Exzeo Ventures to build AI-native insurance products
The new division will focus on agentic AI for catastrophe claims, next-generation underwriting and distribution automation, and is backed by Exzeo’s insurance and technology platform.
Exzeo has launched Exzeo Ventures, a new division aimed at building AI-native products, services, and businesses primarily for the insurance industry.
Rather than using AI to automate existing workflows, the company says the unit will target business models that it believes were not previously economically or technologically feasible. Initial focus areas include agentic AI for catastrophe claims, next-generation underwriting and risk transfer solutions, distribution automation, and other AI-enabled insurance products and business models, with most initiatives developed internally using Exzeo’s existing insurance and technology capabilities.
Exzeo, which went public in 2025, provides technology and services to P&C insurers via its Insurance-as-a-Service platform with a focus on homeowners insurance. WindForm Pro is part of that broader Insurance-as-a-Service platform.
In a recent quarter, Exzeo reported $140.9 million in cash and cash equivalents, and working capital of $68.7 million, up significantly from year-end 2024 levels, as it rolls out the AI venture division.
