Bitcoin ETFs take in $853.5M over five straight sessions

BlackRock's IBIT accounted for about $690M, and cumulative inflows since launch now total $52.18B.

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs logged five consecutive sessions of net inflows last week, pulling in a total of $853.5 million, according to SoSoValue data cited by Decrypt. Cumulative net inflows since launch rose to $52.18 billion, after a $61.5 million net outflow the prior week.

About $690 million of the five-day total went into BlackRock's IBIT, roughly 80% of weekly inflows. On Friday specifically, IBIT drew $86.7 million and Fidelity's FBTC added $41 million, while Invesco's BTCO saw net outflows of $19.4 million and VanEck's HODL lost $10.6 million.

In the broader market, Bitcoin traded around $65,000 Monday morning, about 48% below its October 2025 record, according to CoinGecko figures referenced in the story. Decrypt also reported that the ETFs ended the week holding $79.5 billion, about 6.1% of Bitcoin's market capitalization.

Decrypt said researchers pointed to fading rate-hike expectations and weaker U.S. employment data as catalysts for the flows. Tim Sun of HashKey cautioned that the inflows may reflect portfolio rebalancing and basis trading and are not enough to confirm a trend reversal, noting CME FedWatch odds of a September hike fell to 40% from 55% on Friday before moving to 46% Monday. CoinShares similarly expected Bitcoin to trade range-bound for two to three months.
