James Marcellino re-joins Colliers New York as vice president
Colliers says his new role will cover office leasing and tenant representation as the firm expands its New York presence.
James Marcellino has returned to Colliers' New York City office as a vice president, more than 13 years after he previously left the firm, Commercial Observer reports. He starts in the role on Aug. 10, and his responsibilities will focus on office leasing and tenant representation as Colliers continues expanding in New York.
Colliers said the executive will bring more than 17 years of experience advising institutional owners, landlords, and occupiers on office leasing. John Gallagher, executive managing director for New York City at Colliers, said Marcellino's experience and perspective will add value to both clients and the team.
In recent work as a real estate consultant, Marcellino advised the Bracha Group, Modernus Architectural Products, and Christie’s International Real Estate’s leading residential sales team, the Gottlieb Team. Previously, he served as vice president of leasing at L&L Holding Company from 2023 to 2024.
At L&L, Colliers says Marcellino oversaw leasing strategy for a 6.3 million square foot portfolio and completed nearly 344,000 square feet of office and retail transactions. Colliers also noted Marcellino first joined the firm in late 2011, later departing in 2013 for CBRE before taking on leasing leadership roles at CIM Group and the Moinian Group.
