Realty of America taps anchor partners to expand into North and South Carolina
The brokerage says it has reached more than 3,500 agents across 25 markets in 21 months as it rolls out the Carolinas push.
Realty of America is appointing Charles Boyett and Allison Watkins as anchor partners to launch its expansion into North and South Carolina, the company announced Monday, expanding from its Chicago-based national platform. According to HousingWire, ROA, founded in September 2024, has grown to more than 3,500 agents across 25 markets in 21 months. In their regional roles, Boyett and Watkins are tasked with establishing ROA’s leadership presence and growing its agent base across both states. The appointments fit Realty of America’s anchor partner model, in which local leaders focus on market development, recruiting, and culture-building. Boyett, who brings nearly 30 years of residential real estate and brokerage leadership experience, previously held roles including director of market development at Coldwell Banker Vanguard and chief operating officer at eXp Realty’s organization.
Watkins brings nearly two decades of real estate experience as both a top-producing agent and organizational leader. HousingWire reports that she was the third agent to join Real Brokerage in North Carolina and later the second agent to join Epique Realty in the state, where she served as an area leader.
Boyett said he was drawn by the firm’s leadership team and the pace of growth, adding that ROA’s rapid agent expansion in just 21 months reflects momentum in its approach.
