Fisher Brothers launches in-house AI Innovation Lab for workflows
The 111-year-old Manhattan-based owner and operator said its team will build proprietary AI agents to automate multistep processes and link previously siloed systems across its business.
Fisher Brothers, a Manhattan-based real estate owner and operator, announced the launch of an in-house AI Innovation Lab designed to create proprietary artificial intelligence applications and AI agents rather than rely on off-the-shelf tools. The lab will operate across the company’s commercial and residential operations and at Area15, its Las Vegas entertainment venue.
According to the firm, the technology team is building tools intended to automate multistep workflows, connect internal systems that it says have been siloed, and convert company data into something employees can use and act on in real time.
Fisher Brothers said the lab is led by a dedicated internal engineering effort, including its global chief technology officer Mark Stutzman, which the company characterized as an effort to speed an ongoing AI transformation. Winston Fisher, a partner at the firm, linked the initiative to the broader shift sparked after ChatGPT’s consumer debut in 2022.
Stutzman said the rollout is meant to replace some of the large software-as-a-service applications the company is paying for, using AI to handle time-consuming tasks and free teams to focus on work that supports growth. The company described the internal program as a transformation “flywheel” that accelerates further changes over time.
