Singapore lifts 2026 growth outlook on AI-driven momentum
Singapore now projects 2026 GDP growth of 4.5% to 5.5%, versus a prior 2.0% to 4.0% range.
Singapore has revised its 2026 economic growth forecast sharply higher, citing an AI-related boost to activity, CNBC Markets reports.
The city-state’s new outlook calls for GDP growth of 4.5% to 5.5% for 2026, which is more than double the prior forecast’s low end of 2.0%.
CNBC World similarly described the upgrade, noting the earlier range had been 2.0% to 4.0%, before the higher expectations for 2026.
