Atrium appoints Alice Gilbert as Underwriter starting 2027
The Lloyd’s specialty insurer said Gilbert will work with Matthew Greaves to expand its Diversified Risk book in standalone and complement formats.
Atrium, a specialty insurer at Lloyd’s, appointed Alice Gilbert as an Underwriter effective in the first quarter of 2027, tasking her with supporting growth in the company’s Diversified Risk business.
Atrium said Gilbert will work alongside Matthew Greaves, Head of Diversified Risk Underwriting, as the team builds its Diversified Risk book with a focus on sustainable growth. The line is written as a standalone class and also as a complement to Atrium’s existing Property, Casualty and Specialty lines.
The insurer said the Diversified Risk team targets niche and complex risks placed on a delegated basis through MGA, quota share and consortium structures, with the ability to lead business to suit clients’ needs.
Gilbert joins Atrium from Hampden, Syndicate 2689, where she most recently served as an Underwriter on a diverse portfolio of consortia and quota share treaties. She previously spent six years at Dale Underwriting Partners as an Assistant Underwriter in its North American Property Treaty team.
