Canopy Connect adds Trailhead branding to its insurance intake links
The new Trailhead landing experience shows an agent’s identity and a message before prospects share coverage details, extending the company’s April Sharing Paths options.
Canopy Connect has introduced Trailhead, a configurable landing experience that appears in front of every insurance intake link an agent sends. The goal is to address the point where a prospect first clicks and decides whether to trust the request enough to provide their insurance information.
Rather than routing users to a bare form or an anonymous carrier connection screen, Trailhead displays the agent’s name, photo, and contact information, along with a short explanation for why they are being asked to share coverage details. Coverager says Trailhead is designed to complement Sharing Paths, the four-option sharing screen Canopy Connect rolled out in April.
The company frames Trailhead as especially useful for agencies that depend on referrals, such as mortgage brokers and auto dealers, because referral partners often forward links without context. Canopy Connect also points to a shared Company View feature to keep branding consistent across multiple agents, regardless of which agent’s link a prospect clicks.
Coverager notes that intake friction remains a persistent, and potentially expensive, part of how many insurance quotes are still initiated, given the industry’s reliance on PDFs, phone calls, and self-reported policy details to start the quoting process.
