Dogecoin and BNB climb while bitcoin slips near $63,700
Dogecoin rose almost 3% to just above 7 cents, while bitcoin was the only major token down on both the day and the week.
CoinDesk data showed Dogecoin led large-cap crypto gains, rising almost 3% to just above 7 cents, while BNB climbed about 2% to $614.
Bitcoin slipped near $63,700 and was the only major token lower on both the day and the week, while other movers included Tron up almost 1%, XRP up over half a percent, and solana edging up to $76.
In broader markets, Asian equities rallied after strong semiconductor earnings, with South Korea’s Kospi jumping 4.6% as Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix rose, supporting a risk-on backdrop.
Traders were focused on Thursday’s U.S. CPI report and Middle East tensions, as falling inflation could reinforce expectations for Fed cuts but higher oil prices could raise inflation pressure, according to CoinDesk.
