NHC Foods stock jumps 5% after Q1 results beat expectations
NHC Foods said Q1 FY27 revenue rose 234.5% year over year to ₹369.7 crore, alongside EBITDA growth of 512.4%.
NHC Foods shares rose 5% to ₹1.30 in Wednesday trading after investors reacted positively to the companys June-quarter performance, according to LiveMint Markets.
For Q1 FY27, the company reported consolidated revenue from operations increasing 234.5% year over year to ₹369.7 crore, up from ₹110.5 crore in Q1 FY26. EBITDA reached ₹21.29 crore, a 512.4% year over year increase from ₹3.48 crore, while consolidated profit climbed to ₹16.99 crore from ₹1.67 crore.
The company also reported basic EPS of ₹0.26 for the quarter, compared with ₹0.03 in Q1 FY26. In the same update, it said its FY26 consolidated net profit was ₹12.32 crore and revenue from operations grew 72.9% year over year to ₹601.31 crore.
NHC Foods added that it strengthened its capital base by allotting 1,041,770,400 fully paid-up equity shares to Global Focus Fund following partial conversion of 11 FCCBs totaling USD 11 lakh, bringing its paid-up equity share capital to ₹76.19 crore. The board also approved a letter of intent for a proposed investment and acquisition of Agriconnect Solutions Private Limited, which supplies and trades agri commodities.
