SpaceX short interest drops to about 11% after stock rebound
S3 data show short interest fell from a 34% peak last week to roughly 11% on Wednesday, suggesting short positions have been reduced as the stock bounced.
SpaceX short sellers have sharply reduced their positions after the companys shares rebounded more than 30% off a recent low, according to S3 data cited by CNBC.
The share of SpaceX publicly traded stock held short fell to about 11% on Wednesday, down from around 34% at its peak last week, according to the same S3 figures.
CNBC reported that the decline in short interest comes as the stock has continued to recover, widening the distance from the low level that preceded the most recent surge.
