Spice Lounge Food Works jumps on ₹21 crore order from Xora World
The small-cap stock hit a 10% upper circuit after opening at ₹26.67 and also said its board will meet on Aug. 14 to consider quarter results.
Spice Lounge Food Works shares rose as much as 10% to an upper circuit on Wednesday, even as Dalal Street sentiment remained weak, according to LiveMint Markets. The stock opened at ₹26.67, compared with the previous close of ₹25.39 on Tuesday, and reached an intraday high of ₹27.92 on Aug. 12.
In an exchange filing dated Aug. 12, the company said it secured a new order from Xora World for live events and entertainment-related activities, with an aggregate order value exceeding ₹21 crore. The company added that it plans to expand its presence in the live entertainment and events space.
The filing also said the board will meet on Friday, Aug. 14, to consider and approve financial results for the quarter ending June 30, 2026. LiveMint Markets noted the stock has been volatile near term, gaining over 12% in a week and 14.4% in a month.
Separately, the company previously said it is preparing to expand the WingZone brand with a second outlet in Anjanapura after the launch in Koramangala. LiveMint Markets added that the stock is down 26% year-to-date and 28% over one year, while still showing multibagger returns over longer periods.
