Colliers to lead retail leasing for Miramar Cove development

Miramar Cove, a 125-acre mixed-use project west of Miami and Fort Lauderdale, is expected to deliver about 400,000 square feet of retail and has an expected $1 billion value at buildout.

Sunbeam Development Corporation, owner of the 125-acre Miramar Cove project west of Miami and Fort Lauderdale, has engaged Colliers to lead retail leasing for the mixed-use waterfront destination now under construction, according to ConnectCRE.

Miramar Cove broke ground in May 2026 and is set to deliver approximately 400,000 square feet of retail, dining, and entertainment space anchored by a 35,000-square-foot grocer.

The development will also include 2,874 residences with a private beach club, 125,000 square feet of Class A office space, a 185-key full-service hotel, and more than 40 acres of parks and trails, with a 5.5-acre translucent blue water cove at the center.

Fort Lauderdale-based Stiles Corporation is building the project, which has an expected value of $1 billion at buildout.
