PMB and Loma Linda University Health break ground on rehab hospital

The 99,000-square-foot, 80-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital is set to open in summer 2028 and will replace Loma Linda’s existing inpatient unit.

PMB, a healthcare real estate developer, and Loma Linda University Health, working with Lifepoint Rehabilitation, broke ground on a new inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Redlands, according to ConnectCRE.

The planned facility will span 99,000 square feet across three stories and will operate as a standalone hospital, with capacity for 80 beds, ConnectCRE said.

Loma Linda University Rehabilitation Hospital will be jointly operated by Loma Linda University Health and Lifepoint Rehabilitation, and it is anticipated to open in summer 2028, the outlet reported.

ConnectCRE added that upon completion, Loma Linda University Health will transition its existing inpatient rehabilitation unit to the new building.
