ADM to add storage and berthing capacity at Port of Greenock

The expansion links ADM’s existing King George V Dock operations in Glasgow with Greenock to boost feed handling capacity and supply-chain flexibility across Scotland.

ADM is expanding its Scottish feed operations with new storage and additional berthing capacity at Peel Ports Group’s Port of Greenock, the company said Aug. 17.

The upgrade builds on ADM’s existing presence at King George V Dock in Glasgow, and the two locations are intended to form a more integrated logistics network along the River Clyde.

ADM said the added capacity is expected to improve handling volume, strengthen supply-chain flexibility, and support feed customers across the region as demand for imported feed materials evolves.

Peel Ports Group said the investment underscores the Clyde as a gateway for agricultural imports, with the port company pointing to its long-standing partnership with ADM Agriculture.
