Paul Tudor Jones' fund increases BlackRock Bitcoin ETF position
In Q2, the macro fund raised its iShares Bitcoin Trust stake 18.9% to 688,529 shares worth $22.9 million, and reduced exposure through call options.
Paul Tudor Jones' investment firm has moved back into BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF after a period of selling, according to Decrypt.
The firm increased its iShares Bitcoin Trust stake by 18.9% to 688,529 shares, valuing the position at $22.9 million in Q2.
Decrypt reports that the firm also sharply cut its call options, shifting from more leveraged, derivatives-based exposure toward more direct spot-like holdings.
The changes reflect an adjustment in how the firm expresses its Bitcoin view, moving away from call options while increasing the underlying ETF position.
