Price Forbes appoints Chris Harris to lead US casualty
Harris will manage the US casualty team and help carry forward the firm’s Lectio follow facility, which has expanded casualty lines with its premium scope reaching about USD 1.3 billion.
Price Forbes, a specialist insurance and reinsurance broker, has appointed Chris Harris as Managing Director and Head of US casualty, effective immediately.
Harris brings more than three decades of experience across broking and underwriting roles, including prior leadership as Divisional Director of US Casualty at Howden, and senior positions at brokerages such as Bowring Marsh and BMS.
In the new role, he will lead and manage the US casualty team, set and execute strategic direction, and drive growth, drawing on experience producing and placing US casualty business across London, Europe, and Bermuda markets.
Price Forbes said the appointment positions the company for its next growth phase in US casualty. The firm also noted that it expanded its cross-class follow facility, Lectio, to include casualty lines, extending the facility’s premium scope to around USD 1.3 billion.
