Aon appoints Nadin Virani interim CFO as Edmund Reese steps down

Edmund Reese will remain senior advisor to CEO Greg Case through 16 August 2027 during Aon’s search for a permanent CFO.

Aon has named Nadin Virani as its interim chief financial officer, effective immediately, following Edmund Reese’s decision to pursue opportunities outside the firm, Reinsurance News reported.

Reese, Aon’s executive vice president and CFO, will serve as senior advisor to CEO Greg Case through 16 August 2027 to support the transition.

Virani will report to Case and lead Aon’s finance organization, working with the executive committee to maintain continuity and oversight of the firm’s financial strategy, the outlet said.

Aon also said it has appointed an executive search firm to run a comprehensive internal and external search for a permanent CFO, while highlighting Virani’s prior experience in corporate planning and analytics at the firm and earlier roles at Broadridge and American Express.
