Arrow Real Estate Advisors adds Ari Mandelbaum to expand multifamily lending
Mandelbaum, a former Greystone and Dwight Capital lender, is set to focus on negotiating multifamily loans as borrowers seek alternative financing strategies.
Arrow Real Estate Advisors has added Ari Mandelbaum as a director as the capital markets advisory firm continues to build its team nearly two years after its founding, Commercial Observer reported. The firm, founded by Morris Betesh in fall 2024, said Mandelbaum brings experience from the lender side of the business, including underwriting, credit and execution, to support Arrow’s multifamily debt placement work. Mandelbaum previously held senior roles at Greystone and Dwight Capital, specializing in agency and bridge loans across multifamily and other property sectors. His career included a stint at Greystone from 2011 to 2014, followed by about a decade at Dwight, where he rose to an executive vice president role. At Arrow, Mandelbaum will heavily focus on negotiating multifamily loans and helping borrowers navigate alternative strategies. The Commercial Observer story also cited a prior deal he originated at Dwight, a $36 million bridge loan in 2023 for Latco Enterprises to refinance its Villa Annette Apartments property in Moreno Valley, Calif.
