Atlanta Electricals wins APTRANSCO LOI for 12 high-capacity transformers

The letter of intent covers 12 units of 160 MVA, 220/132 kV auto transformers worth ₹193.92 crore including GST.

Atlanta Electricals has received a Letter of Intent from Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited, or APTRANSCO, for the design, manufacture, testing, and supply of 12 units of 160 MVA, 220/132 kV auto transformers. LiveMint Markets reports the total contract value is ₹193.92 crore including GST.

The company said the order scope includes supply, including unloading, according to the technical specifications and commercial terms under the tender. It described the win as strengthening its position in power transmission and highlighting its ability to deliver for critical infrastructure.

Atlanta Electricals ended the June quarter with an order book of ₹3,116.63 crore, up 25.0% quarter over quarter. LiveMint Markets adds that the company reported Q1 FY27 revenue from operations of ₹466.33 crore, up 48.0% year over year, and EBITDA of ₹77.10 crore, up 58.1% year over year, supported by execution across domestic orders and higher capacity utilization.
