Boom raises $15M Series A for single-family rental leasing platform
The Austin-based company says it has grown about 8x since inception and has tripled since the start of the year, using the funding to launch BoomCRM and expand engineering and go-to-market efforts.
Boom, a leasing operating system for single-family rentals, announced it has secured $15 million in Series A funding, with S3 Ventures leading the round and Mischief VC participating.
The company also launched BoomCRM, an agentic leasing and touring customer relationship management product built on top of Boom’s existing underwriting engine, targeting renters and leasing workflows across single-family rentals, scattered-site properties, and manufactured housing.
Founded in 2020 and based in Austin, Texas, Boom positions itself as financial services infrastructure for rental operations, focusing on tools intended to support on-time payments, fraud reduction, and revenue growth across a renter’s lifecycle.
In remarks reported by Commercial Observer, CEO and co-founder Rob Whiting said the company has grown about 8x up to the Series A and has grown an additional 3x since the start of the year, and that the new capital will help accelerate BoomCRM and additional products, while expanding its engineering team and go-to-market efforts.
