Jackson-Shaw breaks ground on Horizon 35 industrial park in Denton

The first phase of Horizon 35 will add more than 543,000 square feet across three rear-load buildings, with delivery targeted for the third quarter of 2027.

Jackson-Shaw has broken ground on Horizon 35, a business park totaling more than 900,000 square feet at the northeast corner of Interstate 35 and Texas Highway Loop 288 in Denton, Texas, according to Bisnow.

The project’s first phase is planned to deliver more than 543,000 square feet across three rear-load buildings in the third quarter of 2027. The buildings are sized at 147,000 square feet, 146,000 square feet, and 250,000 square feet, with 32- to 36-foot clear heights, 60-foot speed bays, dock-high loading, oversized drive-in doors, and parking for automobiles and trailers.

Jackson-Shaw said Horizon 35 is designed with flexible suite sizes to serve a broad range of users as Denton grows. Leasing for the first phase is being led by Stream Realty Partners, with ARCO/Murray serving as the design-builder.

The story also notes other recent North Texas real estate activity tied to the DFW deal sheet, including Stonepeak’s acquisition of an 860,000-square-foot rail-served logistics asset in the AllianceTexas area, Ascent Investment Partners’ purchase of the Argyle 44 residential development site, and deals involving a Plano retail center and a Richardson shopping center, with details and advisory roles listed by Bisnow.
