Red Sox lease 1325 Boylston St. office space near Fenway Park
The six-year lease will consolidate staff from three locations until the planned Fenway Corners mixed-use project begins delivering.
The Boston Red Sox have leased 100,000 square feet at Samuels & Associates’ 1325 Boylston St., about a block from Fenway Park, according to ConnectCRE.
The new space will bring together Red Sox front-office staff from three locations on an interim basis until delivery begins on the proposed $1.6-billion Fenway Corners mixed-use project.
ConnectCRE reports that the lease covers the top three floors of 1325 Boylston St. and will also accommodate Fenway Sports Group and sibling organization Fenway Sports Management.
The Boston Business Journal cited by ConnectCRE said the lease runs for six years with an option to extend it for another five, and that the team ultimately plans to occupy a 250,000-square-foot office building as the first phase of Fenway Corners, in partnership with WS Development.
