LXMI Capital buys DoubleTree by Hilton San Antonio Airport hotel

The 13-story, 384-room property is backed by a $36.4 million acquisition loan from Fortress Investment Group.

Hospitality and multifamily investor LXMI Capital acquired the DoubleTree by Hilton San Antonio Airport in Texas, according to ConnectCRE.

The transaction involved a $36.4 million acquisition loan from Fortress Investment Group. The hotel, located at 611 NW Loop 410, had previously been owned by Presidian Hospitality.

The 13-story hotel includes 384 guest rooms and about 14,659 square feet of meeting and event space, and it sits roughly two miles from San Antonio International Airport. Amenities include free self-parking, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, and a complimentary 24/7 airport shuttle service.

Presidian bought the hotel in 2019 and began a $10 million renovation plan, ConnectCRE said. The property, built in 1981 as La Mansion del Norte, has room rates between $109 and $169, the outlet added.
