Guy Carpenter names new global property and casualty leaders
The appointments create newly created roles focused on delivering risk transfer solutions across the property and casualty (re)insurance market.
Guy Carpenter, a business of Marsh, appointed David Duffy as its global property leader and Chris Ross as its global casualty leader, with both roles based in New York.
Duffy and Ross will report to John Trace, CEO of North America and chief broking officer for Guy Carpenter.
In their newly created positions, Duffy and Ross are tasked with mobilizing Guy Carpenter’s best practices to deliver risk transfer solutions for clients in the property and casualty (re)insurance market.
Duffy joined Guy Carpenter in 1992 and most recently served as co-president, global clients, while Ross joined in 1999 and previously led the New York-based casualty team, according to Insurance Journal.
