Xceedance names Adrian Spieler to its board of directors
Spieler, a former Swiss Re and Convex Insurance executive, joins with over 30 years of experience across reinsurance, insurance, and asset management.
Xceedance, a provider of technology-driven business solutions for the insurance industry, appointed Adrian Spieler to its Board of Directors, effective immediately, according to Reinsurance News.
Spieler brings more than 30 years of experience across reinsurance, insurance, and asset management. He has served as Chief Operating Officer at Convex Insurance since it launched in 2019, and previously spent 17 years at Swiss Re in senior leadership roles.
Prior to his Convex role, Spieler worked at Catlin, later XL Catlin, serving in multiple leadership positions including Chief Enterprise Operations Officer and Chief Platform Officer, Insurance.
Xceedance said Spieler will provide strategic guidance as the company expands, including helping set organizational goals and support performance measurement. The company also cited his operational and technology expertise across the reinsurance value chain as key to scaling and expanding its footprint across global re/insurance markets.
