Bitcoin dominates $1.3B crypto ETP inflows as BlackRock leads rebound

Across Aug. 17-19, Bitcoin pulled $1.0B of the $1.3B inflow, while Ethereum totaled $289.1M and Solana just $4.1M.

Bitcoin accounted for 77.4% of $1.297 billion in net inflows across US crypto ETPs tracking Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana from Aug. 17 through Aug. 19, according to CryptoSlate. The rebound was therefore heavily weighted to Bitcoin in dollar terms. Farside Investors data cited by CryptoSlate shows Bitcoin net inflows of $297.5 million on Aug. 17, $189.3 million on Aug. 18, and $517.2 million on Aug. 19. Over the same sessions, Ethereum saw $30.9 million, $71.4 million, and $186.8 million for a three day total of $289.1 million. Solana funds lagged sharply, recording zero inflows on Aug. 17 and only $1.6 million on Aug. 18 and $2.5 million on Aug. 19, for a $4.1 million three session total. CryptoSlate also reports that Bitcoin averaged $334.7 million per day versus a roughly $81.0 million historical daily average, while Ethereum averaged about $96.4 million per day versus a roughly $22.6 million average.

By product, CryptoSlate highlights that Bitcoin inflows were concentrated in BlackRock’s IBIT, which contributed $588.5 million over Aug. 17-19, along with Fidelity’s FBTC at $198.2 million and ARK 21Shares’ ARKB at $111.6 million. For Ethereum, BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) led with $212.7 million over the three sessions, while Solana inflows were largely tied to Bitwise’s BSOL, partially offset by a $3.1 million Grayscale Solana Trust ETF outflow on Aug. 19.
