MSIG USA, the U.S. specialty insurance arm of MS&AD Insurance Group, has appointed industry veteran Carrie Brodzinski as Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO). Brodzinski brings three decades of underwriting and leadership experience. According to the announcement, her remit includes governing underwriting performance, supporting portfolio management, and driving execution of underwriting strategy.
Reinsurance News also reported that she joins MSIG USA from The Hartford, where she served as Chief Underwriting Officer for Global Specialty since 2021. Before that, she held senior underwriting roles at AXA XL, including Head of Global Underwriting Management and Senior Vice President of Underwriting.
