Fast-food real estate veteran pivots to Image Studios beauty leases

Image Studios, which has more than 140 locations, plans to add 50 new studios each year as health and beauty concepts expand.

Bisnow profiles Anne Goldman, a former real estate executive with about 20 years of experience developing properties for major restaurant brands including Krispy Kreme, Popeyes, and Dave’s Hot Chicken, who has now joined Image Studios as vice president of real estate in May.

The outlet says Image Studios operates a franchise model for private salon suite rentals, positioning the concept as coworking for beauty, health, and wellness businesses. The company supports local operators with turnkey studio builds for tenants such as hair stylists, nail technicians, massage therapists, and tattoo artists.

Bisnow reports that Image Studios has more than 140 locations across the U.S. and an existing development pipeline that would more than double its footprint. Under Goldman’s plan, the company expects to open 50 new locations each year.

The story links the shift in commercial demand to changing consumer habits, including the growth of GLP-1 medication use for weight loss. Bisnow cites a PwC survey that as of May roughly 1 in 5 U.S. households included a user of GLP-1 drugs like Ozempic and Wegovy, and it notes a BCG estimate that users could rise from about 16 million today to as many as 35 million by 2030.
