Goldie Initiative posts record 145 applications for 45 CRE scholarships
The program selected 34 new Goldie Scholars for the 2026-2027 school year, joining 11 returning scholars for a total 45-person cohort.
ConnectCRE reports that the Goldie B. Wolfe Miller Women Leaders in Real Estate Initiative, known as The Goldie Initiative, has announced winners for the upcoming academic year.
The initiative said it received a record-breaking 145 applications for its 2026-2027 selection cycle, up 51% from the previous year, making it the most competitive cycle in the program’s history.
The organization selected 34 new Goldie Scholars, and the cohort will include 11 returning scholars, for a total of 45 women pursuing graduate degrees relevant to commercial real estate.
ConnectCRE also said Goldie Gala Chicago will celebrate this year’s Shero award winner, Lisa Konieczka, Executive Vice President at CBRE Chicago, and quoted Julie Thick, 2026 Board President, praising the new cohort’s role in the program’s mission.
