ICW Specialty launches Legacy Solutions platform for long-term liabilities
The platform will focus on loss portfolio transfers tied largely to workers’ compensation claims, with plans to go to market in September 2026.
ICW Specialty, the specialty insurance business unit of ICW Group, has launched Legacy Solutions, a new platform aimed at helping self-insured corporations and other organizations manage and transfer long-term insurance liabilities.
Legacy Solutions is expected to go to market in September 2026, with an initial focus on loss portfolio transfers, largely associated with workers’ compensation claims.
The platform expands ICW Specialty’s lineup of specialized insurance and complex risk solutions, supporting ICW Group’s broader product diversification strategy.
ICW Specialty appointed Lisa Walsh to lead the new platform, tasking her with guiding development and building a team. Walsh brings more than 35 years of insurance experience, including senior roles at Swiss Re focused on structured solutions in property and casualty, and prior leadership work on structured solutions and workers’ compensation expertise.
