Lockton names Lotte Kragh Head of Energy for Denmark

Kragh, who brings more than 10 years of energy risk and insurance experience, joins from Marsh and will lead Lockton Denmark’s Energy Practice.

Lockton, an independent insurance brokerage, announced the appointment of Lotte Kragh as Head of Energy for Denmark. In the role, she will lead and develop Lockton Denmark’s Energy Practice, with a focus on strategic growth, portfolio management, and providing specialised risk advisory and insurance solutions for clients across the energy sector.

Kragh has more than 10 years of risk and insurance experience in the energy industry. She joins Lockton from Marsh, where she most recently served as Global Client Relationship Manager, and previously worked as a Lead Risk and Insurance Specialist at renewable energy developer Ørsted.

Earlier in her career, Kragh held roles at firms including Aon, Codan Forsikring, A.P. Moller, Maersk, and Willis. Lockton said her international experience will help support large Danish clients and their complex energy projects, alongside the firm’s Global Energy Practice.

Lockton’s Denmark partner Jesper Nygaard said the appointment reflects the firm’s ability to attract talent as its Nordic business has grown rapidly over the past year. Lockton’s Head of Global Energy, Gary Doran, tied the Denmark expansion to recent energy investment successes in Italy, Norway, Switzerland, and Turkey, naming Denmark as a logical next step given its position in Europe’s renewables market.
