Bitcoin and ether spot ETFs pull $2.6B in best inflow week since Oct
Net inflows totaled $1.9B for spot bitcoin ETFs and $697.2M for spot ether ETFs, lifting combined weekly volume to $29B.
U.S. spot bitcoin and spot ether ETFs drew a combined $2.6 billion in net inflows last week, marking their strongest week since October 2025, according to The Block’s analysis of SoSoValue data.
Spot bitcoin ETFs collected $1.9 billion in net inflows, while spot ether ETFs attracted $697.2 million. The inflow surge reversed a combined $392.0 million outflow from the prior week, a swing of about $3 billion week over week.
Trading volume for the two ETF categories more than tripled to $29 billion as bitcoin and ether prices rallied. The funds also saw their largest weekly inflows of 2026 so far, with the week ending Aug. 7 previously noted as a strong benchmark for both categories.
For U.S. bitcoin ETFs specifically, the $1.9 billion in inflows was the largest weekly total since the week ending Oct. 10, 2025, when net inflows were $2.7 billion. Cumulative net inflows since bitcoin ETFs began trading reached $53.7 billion, while trading volume climbed to $22.1 billion from $6.9 billion the week before, an increase of more than 219%.
