Tapestry hits 2026 targets two years early, boosts margins and EPS
Fiscal 2026 revenue rose to $8.0 billion, and the company expanded operating margin by 340 basis points to more than 23% while lifting EPS 38% to $7.05.
Tapestry delivered fiscal 2026 results that beat the three-year targets it set at its Investor Day, arriving two years ahead of schedule, according to Yahoo Finance. Revenue climbed to $8.0 billion, up 17% on a pro forma constant currency basis, while earnings per share rose 38% to $7.05.
Operating performance strengthened further, with operating margin expanding 340 basis points to more than 23%. The company also added 11 million new customers across its brands, and it highlighted Gen Z shoppers as a key driver of higher average unit prices and loyalty.
Coach momentum underpinned the quarter, with fourth-quarter constant currency revenue up 14%, including North America up 10%, Greater China up 30%, and Europe up 25%. Management pointed to mid-teens handbag price growth for the full year alongside unit volume gains, and it said it is targeting a path for Coach to become a $10 billion brand.
The results also underscored pressure at Kate Spade, where management described progress as more gradual than planned and said brand awareness has not improved despite a marketing push. For fiscal 2027, Tapestry forecast a high single-digit revenue decline at Kate Spade and a modest operating loss, while it also assumed a mid-20s percent tariff rate on U.S. imports.
