Arch Insurance International promotes Roger Moniz to transactional risk lead
Moniz, based in Bermuda, will underwrite a global transactional risk portfolio spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Asia-Pacific and Australia.
Arch Insurance International, part of Arch Capital Group and a provider of specialty insurance solutions, has promoted Roger Moniz to Head of Transactional Risk.
In the role, Moniz will be responsible for growing Arch’s transactional risk portfolio, which provides coverage for representations and warranties, warranty and indemnity, and tax insurance risks across the company’s international platform.
He will underwrite a global portfolio with a regional focus that includes North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Asia-Pacific and Australia, and will report to Matt Smith, Managing Director of Arch Insurance Bermuda.
Moniz joined Arch in 2021 and previously managed the Transactional Liability book as EVP, Underwriting Manager, Executive Assurance. Prior to Arch, he worked at Aon and RenaissanceRe.
