Dangote refinery boosts Nigeria petroleum product shipments on the seas
EIA says seaborne petroleum product exports from Nigeria have risen sevenfold since 2023, increasing the country’s share as other supply sources face constraints.
The EIA said Nigeria’s Dangote refinery is driving growth in seaborne petroleum product exports from the country.
According to the EIA, Nigeria’s seaborne petroleum product shipments have increased sevenfold since 2023.
The agency said the expanding flow is giving Nigeria a larger role in the international market for petroleum products as supplies from other areas have been constrained.
