HSK New Development wins HK$1.03b Northern Metropolis land tender
The deal covers a 10.5-hectare Hung Shui Kiu site, with total investment expected to reach HK$16.8 billion.
A six-company consortium named HSK New Development has won the first large-scale land disposal project in Hong Kong’s Northern Metropolis, taking the HK$1.03 billion (US$132 million) tender, according to SCMP Economy.
The Development Bureau said the winning bid is for a 10.5-hectare development site in Hung Shui Kiu, with total investment projected at HK$16.8 billion.
HSK New Development includes subsidiaries of China Merchants Land, China Resources Land (Overseas), China Overseas Land & Investment, Sino Land, CTG Investment, and JD.com, alongside a mix of mainland and Hong Kong real estate players.
SCMP Economy reports the Development Bureau highlighted that the consortium brings experience in local property development and leadership from other sectors, saying the structure supports cross-sector corporate collaboration.
