CorVel CEO Sarah Scott details AI and early intervention plans
Scott said CorVel will focus on advancing AI and technology to improve outcomes and quality, while preparing the firm for growth through leadership development.
CorVel’s new President and CEO Sarah Scott said the company plans to build on its existing claims management platforms while introducing new, technology driven strategies, according to an interview with Risk & Insurance.
In the discussion, Scott described her approach as preserving CorVel’s legacy strengths, including an innovation and customer partnership culture, and then using AI to improve outcomes and enhance quality for injured workers.
Scott also said CorVel intends to keep pushing for a shift toward more proactive risk intervention, supported by early engagement and clinical integration in claims handling.
She added that the company’s next stage will require leaders with skills in managing change and AI adoption, building on the expertise of adjusters and clinical staff.
