Druckenmiller and Wood both buy Amazon and Alphabet in Q2

Druckenmiller’s Amazon stake rose 1,083% in Q2, while AWS growth accelerated to 37% year over year and operating margin climbed to about 39.4%.

Druckenmiller’s Duquesne ended Q2 with 541,600 Amazon shares worth roughly $129 million, a reported 1,083% increase, while Wood’s ARK raised its Amazon stake 18%, finishing at about 1.59 million shares worth about $379 million.

For Alphabet, Druckenmiller opened a new position of 336,300 shares worth roughly $120 million, about 2.31% of his portfolio, and Wood increased ARK’s stake 45% to about 1.04 million shares worth approximately $369 million.
