MiniMax revenue jumps 283% in first half, enterprise sales surge
First-half revenue reached US$116.6 million, with its Open Platform and other enterprise services up more than 703% year on year to US$73.9 million.
Chinese artificial intelligence firm MiniMax reported first-half revenue of US$116.6 million, a 283 per cent increase, driven largely by a sharp rise in its enterprise business, according to SCMP Economy.
The company said revenue from its Open Platform and other AI-based enterprise services jumped more than 703 per cent year on year to US$73.9 million from US$9.2 million. That segment accounted for 63.4 per cent of total revenue, expanding from 30.3 per cent a year earlier, as it added more paying users and enterprise customers.
MiniMax also reported that its total loss for the period narrowed 11 per cent to US$358 million, while adjusted net loss widened 111.2 per cent to US$293 million. Gross profit grew more than five-fold to US$20.8 million, with gross profit margin rising to 17.9 per cent from 12.1 per cent a year earlier.
Despite the strong growth, the outlet noted the company remained behind pace to meet full-year analyst forecasts, with six-month revenue representing about 32 per cent of the US$363.77 million expected for 2026. Shares of Hong Kong-listed MiniMax closed up 1.1 per cent at HK$303 ahead of the earnings announcement.
