Watson Realty to roll out Bond security app for 1,000 agents in Sep
The mobile platform will include live video, trip monitoring, and a 24-hour command center for pre-911 intervention during solo showings and visits to vacant properties.
Watson Realty will deploy Bond’s personal security platform to more than 1,000 Florida and Georgia real estate agents starting in September, making the technology part of the firm’s standard agent toolset rather than an optional add-on.
HousingWire reports that the rollout aligns with Realtor Safety Month, targeting risks that have shifted in a more independent, post-COVID working environment, including solo showings and visits to vacant or empty properties.
The platform combines a mobile app with a 24-hour command center staffed by security agents, offering location sharing, trip monitoring, live video connections, an option to place an agent on standby, and a siren feature.
Watson Realty’s president Bill Watson III said the company focused on live video as a key benefit, describing how it can help when agents meet someone and enter an empty home, and also support checks and coordination with emergency contacts and first responders.
