Heffernan buys assets of Kristin Manwaring Insurance Associates
The acquired Port Townsend, Washington agency has operated for more than 50 years, offering employee benefits, individual and family coverage, Medicare products, and financial protection solutions.
Heffernan Insurance has acquired the assets of Kristin Manwaring Insurance Associates, an independent insurance agency based in Port Townsend, Washington, according to Coverager.
Heffernan did not disclose the financial terms of the deal. The acquired agency has operated for more than 50 years and provides employee benefits, individual and family insurance, Medicare products, and other financial protection solutions.
Coverager reports that Manwaring acquired the business in 2006 after working with the agency’s previous owner for 10 years. The acquisition is also intended to expand Heffernan’s presence in the Pacific Northwest.
Heffernan, founded in 1988 and headquartered in Walnut Creek, California, offers business and personal insurance, employee benefits, and financial services.
