Two Chinese robotics start-ups plan IPOs in Hong Kong as early as 2027

Infiforce Technology said it is targeting a 2027 listing after raising nearly 1 billion yuan in a funding round earlier this month and securing overseas orders, including a 1,000-unit contract in Saudi Arabia.

Another two Chinese robotics start-ups have confirmed plans to pursue initial public offerings in Hong Kong as early as next year, strengthening the city’s role as a fundraising hub for China’s fast-growing technology sector, according to SCMP Economy.

Infiforce Technology Group, which develops a cognitive system for robots known as “AtomBrain,” is raising capital ahead of a potential Hong Kong listing, with founder Isabella Bai saying the firm is aiming for a 2027 debut and that preparations are underway.

Bai, a former Alibaba vice-president, said industry financing and research and development spending are moving rapidly, but the company did not disclose specific targets or investor details.

SCMP Economy reports Infiforce was founded in 2023, completed a new funding round of nearly 1 billion yuan (US$149 million) earlier this month, and recently secured overseas orders including a 1,000-unit contract in Saudi Arabia.
