Havas Health expands Midtown HQ with 15-year lease at 200 Madison
The renewal adds 64,657 square feet, lifting Havas Health’s footprint to 254,118 square feet and extending the deal through at least 2041.
Havas Health, a global health and wellness communications network, is expanding its Midtown headquarters at 200 Madison Avenue after signing a 15-year lease renewal with George Comfort & Sons, Commercial Observer reports.
The company will renew its existing 189,461-square-foot office and add 64,657 square feet, bringing its total footprint to 254,118 square feet across five floors of the 26-story building seven blocks south of Grand Central Terminal.
According to the landlord, asking rents for available space in the tower average $70 to $75 per square foot, and the lease runs through at least 2041.
George Comfort said the expansion builds on recent upgrades to the building’s entrance and lobby, as the landlord is also developing a new 11,000-square-foot indoor-outdoor amenity center on the 10th floor with conference rooms, a game area, a lounge, event spaces, and an outdoor garden.
